He has worked with several organizations and projects taking on assignments in areas such as; scooping studies, baseline surveys, market research, training modules development testing, and delivery, project design and implementation, socio-economic surveys, business and strategic plan development, project evaluations, value chain selection and analysis and development, market access and linkages, practitioner, and staff capacity building, one on one mentoring and facilitation and organizational reviews among others.
Mr. Vincent Tengeye Makokha
Project planning and management practitionerMr. Vincent Tengeye Makokha has more than 15 years’ international hands-on experience in Africa and South East Asia. He worked on different Socio-Economic projects in Kenya, the Philippines, South Sudan, Uganda and Rwanda. He has experience on designing, implementing and evaluating development projects and undertaking action research on different socio-economic thematic issues. He has worked on different development rehabilitation projects with focus on governance and economic empowerment. Some of the most recent notable consultancy assignments he has undertaken include; development of the Avocado for Export Orchard Business Plan for Horticulture Exporters Association of Rwanda (HEAR) supported by International Trade Centre (ITC); a research for Rwanda Civil Society Platform on “Analysis of value chain for intensified crops and market price in Rwanda. He currently supports the National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB) in Rwanda as a Strategy and Commercialization Expert Coach and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Masters of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management.
Willis Odhiambo Okul
Development ConsultantWillis Odhiambo Okul has over 20 years’ experience as a team leader and a technical consultant as a Business and Strategy Development Specialist (development of business and resource mobilization strategies), Monitoring & evaluation and Research and Publication (social research and training). Willis has supported several public and private development organizations in Eastern Africa Region in various capacity building processes, strategic planning and operationalization and risk management and contingency analysis. Willis is currently engaged as a Business Development Consultant and Coach under the Palladium International, LLC; Business Advisory Services Providers Investment and Credit Facilitation for Agribusinesses Feed the Future Kenya Investment Mechanism (a USAID activity): with advisory services and assistance in securing financing (debt/equity). He has previously served as M&E Manager for PwC Rwanda Limited; M&E Consultant for Economic Policy Research Network – Rwanda; His most recent assignments include: “Development, design and implementation of crisis financing strategies to respond to the ongoing drought in Northern Kenya and the larger East African region for USAID – ACDI/VOCA; Prepare Fodder Marketing Strategy For Bungoma, Kakamega and Siaya Counties for GIZ; Rapid assessment of challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs in Rwanda in the post COVID-19 pandemic; Evaluation of Strategic Plan 2020 – 2024 for Women for Women Rwanda, Prepare Strategic Plan 2022-2027 for the National Electoral Commission; “Capacity Building for Boresha Mama Busia Cash Transfer Pilot” COVID-19 Response for Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Kenya; Training of Enterprises for Women in Trade Project for Partner Africa; and mid-term evaluation of the Tearfund’s Sustainable Economic and Agriculture Development (SEAD) Project in Rwanda. Willis holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management and Masters of Science in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development.
Lynette Obare
Gender AssociateLynette Obare is currently teaching Tourism and Travel Management courses at the Technical University of Kenya, School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies. She holds an MSc. in Tourism Geography from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a strong advocate for women economic empowerment, gender empowerment and social inclusive development, gender sensitive policies and gender based programming.

Community Development AssociateShadrack is a Community Development professional, holding Diploma in Community Development and Bsc. Degree in Community Health and Development from Kenyatta University. He has over eighteen (18) years of practical experience in development programme design and implementation.
Hagai Ongecha Oyaro
Research DirectorHagai Ongecha Oyaro holds Diploma in Project Management, a BSc. in Agribusiness Management and a Msc. in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST). Hagai is currently working as Research Director, in Agribusiness and Food Security at Breinscope Consultant Limited. Hagai has over 21 years work experience with strong background in Agribusiness Management, Climate Smart Agriculture Projects, Value Chains and innovations in Livestock Beekeeping.
