Project Background
Alternatives to Violence Kenya Trust (AVP) with the support from the department Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW) of Britain Yearly Meeting is carrying out the Turning the Tide (TTT) programme. TTT is a social justice and peacebuilding programme that has been operating in Kenya since 2010. In 2015 and with the help of Kenyan TTT members, the programme was launched in Rwanda and Burundi.
